Recently, $564 million dollars was authorized to be spent on Minnesota airports with federal spending money.

It is called the “Let’s Get Back to Work” program and its goal to provide funding to improve Minnesota airports.

Federal Spending breakdown:

  • New Ulm Municipal: 3.8 million for runway extensions
  • Blue Earth Municipal: 2.3 million for runway repairs
  • Le Sueur Municipal: 96,000 for land
  • Waseca Municipal: 62,000 for taxiway
  • Other airports will be receiving money as well
